Mr. Robot
What pops into your mind when you think about watching a TV series? For me, there is no contest: Mr. Robot. Whenever I watch a scene from the series, I feel overstimulated. It is my all-time favourite show. Specifically, the characters Darlene, Elliot, Whiterose, and Tyrell Wellick are literally stuck in my mind. I love Darlene’s character; she is a malware coder who doesn't care what anyone thinks. I’m also fascinated by Whiterose's unquenchable desire for her billion-dollar time machine, which propelled her to monopolise the system. Finally, Elliot's family tragedy saddened me. His Dissociative Identity Disorder leaves a lingering mystery, and his ideas about society apply perfectly to today's world. The dialogue still resonates in my head: 'Hello, friend,' and 'F*ck society.'
