Happy New Year
As the old year passes, we grow older and gather many sweet and bitter experiences. Some hurt us, some teach us, and others change the way we think. Often, we find ourselves seeking deliverance from distress, longing for a saviour or hoping that luck will favour us in this year.
Back in February, a wise person told me that true luck is simply having good people around us. That shifted my entire perspective. It’s so true. We must not indulge in a train of evil thoughts; instead, may Allah give us the power to overcome negativity, our own flaws, and the adversaries we face.
May we all lead a consecrated life in this year, surrounded by good people. May we conquer our dreams and move past the tarnished moments of the past. Happy New Year!
